Exhibitions

From the 16th - 21st of August 2016, We engAGE were at Edinburgh Fringe!

Two of our previous projects were exhibited at The Gayfield to show the variety of ways that we work, engaging older people living with Dementia.

The aim was to inspire conversations, new ways of thinking and changing perceptions around Dementia and what can be achieved!

Here are a few of the testimonials that we received:

"I absolutely love this - just fabulous! What you are doing is amazing and much needed. I am so pleased that there is this wonderful work going on and something truly good for the benefit of us all. Keep up the great work!"

"Uplifting!"

"Innovative use of technology! Great Work!"

"What a fabulous enriching project! Congratulations to all involved - very encouraging and thought provoking! How sad that most people with Dementia don't have this opportunity to express themselves and realise their hidden potential! THANK YOU!"

A regular question that We engAGE gets asked is:
'What do you do on We engAGE?'
- this is especially common for Care Home Managers and Care Staff. Describing and sharing testimonials isn't enough to show the progress and personality that is captured on We engAGE.

The We engAGE collective have been meeting regularly and recently have put together various exhibiting formats to share residents stories with the public.

If you would like to read more about individual residents' stories above and how we created Person Centred Designed sessions for each resident - please do get in touch at:
E: claireford88@hotmail.com

We will be sharing the exhibition through our newsletter very shortly, so you can always sign up on our home page to receive this too!
